THE solarium

Bathed in warmth, The Solarium brings elegance and ease together in a seamless blend of French country romance and modern editorial design.

The room is 195 sq ft, and features tall east and south facing windows and a windowed south entrance door. A door opposite leads to the available kitchen and bathroom. A canopy bed offers a dreamy focal point for boudoir, maternity, and editorial portraits. A chesterfield sofa in plush velvet deepens the palette in rich blackberry against the Venetian wall. Anchoring the scene are real furnishings: antique and modern touches and floral installations that add living warmth and texture.

Real-world softness: organic drapery, layered throws, worn woods, and muted florals—all calibrated to look editorial, rustic, deep and moody.

Lighting

The lighting is brightest before noon. Direct sun hits the east windows and really pops. In the afternoon there’s plenty of light but it’s deeper and cooler-toned. This unit is just well lit, so you will have really good light until evening.

Usage

You are free to move everything around and arrange the decor!

We have things set in ways we think are cool but go for it! The bed and couches can be moved, just be careful with florals and hangs. You are also welcome to open doors, shoot through windows, be creative! The chiffon swag is very long and can be moved around, hung cross the room, etc. Please just be mindful of the open areas, kitchen, bathroom, etc. If you want some help just ask, don’t be shy!
